Summary

God of War (2018)

Available on PC, PS5 and PS4, God of War left very good memories to the players. This title, unlike the previous ones, is based on Norse mythology and therefore we evolve in ancient Scandinavia. In this ending which is considered by some to be “memorable”, Baldur’s character is dead. We can therefore resume our objective from the beginning, which is to spread the ashes of Atreus’ mother. And after that we discover a grand secret: the true identity of Atreus. It is, in fact, Loki, the god of mischief and trigger of Ragnarok. An end that is both moving and prepares us for the worst for the next part.

Doki Doki Literature Club!

At first glance, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is a friendly game led by good humor. The story follows the protagonist invited by a childhood friend to join a club of literature. While everything is going well, each character suddenly dies in turn. And here is the end, Monika, a main character and president of the club turns out to be an abomination. The game literally immerses the player in the plot playing with the meta as the video above the article explains.

Red Dead Redemption 2

The end of the first Red Dead Redemption was already exceptional, but that of the second is even more so. We play Arthur Morgan throughout the game, and against all odds, at the end the character dies. However, different endings are possible and depend on your actions. Indeed, we learn that Arthur is suffering from tuberculosis and from that moment, two choices are available to us. The first is to repent and do good, the second is to continue doing good. Twelve Minutes

Twelve Minutes begins son intrigued by a man who comes home from work. His wife, meanwhile, will tell him that she is pregnant. However, a policeman arrives at the same time and kills everyone. The game evolves according to the choices you make. And the ending is quite heartbreaking. Indeed, it is extremely tragic and nevertheless memorable. The player learns that he has, in fact, given birth to his half-sister.

Bioshock Infinite

Those who have played Bioshock Infinite may have already noticed that the title spills the beans somewhat. That is to say: an infinity of universes that are all intertwined with similar storylines and a dystopian city. Our character also has several versions of herself and theon embodies both good and evil, car we are always the poison and panacea. Moreover, to settle all the issues of Bioshock, the title brings us back to the baptism of Father Comstock. It is an important event, car these heroes become what they definitely are. Hellblade

Another game inspired by Norse mythology, Hellblade. In this one, we play Senua, a warrior who must go to Helheim in order to save the soul of son late husband. In addition to fighting different entities, the title immerses us in a psychological terror to cause of the mental illness of the protagonist who hears voices in his head. The end reveals a very beautiful message to us which is the acceptance of death and the way of doing son grief. Indeed, everything that happened took place in his head. No trip to hell was actually made, and no monsters had to be defeated.
