The latest patch for The Sims 4 has added new music, fixed some bugs and also . Baby Yoda.
Yes, Baby Yoda of The Mandalorian has been added to The Sims 4 as a Furnishings item. Called “The Child Statue,” it’s simply a statue that you can place and tell your Sims to “see” you. There seems to be nothing but a strange decoration in your house.
The statue of a child costs 504 Simoleons. The description is simply everything we know about Baby Yoda, which means “The Kid” and comes from the Disney + show. Perhaps the most annoying thing about The Child Statue is that there is only one environmental point.
Ah yes, should I put a fountain outside? Or maybe a baby Yoda? Image: Electronic Arts via Polygon
It just stands . there. It does not seem to move or respond to anything. After visiting this item and bringing it home, I put it impulsively on my dresser, which I regretted. I do not want Baby Yoda’s creepy children’s eyes watching my Sim when she sleeps. I have been reselling the baby Yoda ever since.
Complementing the game is not surprising, as The Sims 4 is released by Electronic Arts, which also releases the Star Wars games. What’s surprising is how quickly Maxis added the item to the game after the Baby Yoda hype.
