The game now supports up to 800,000 players and the Arrowhead boss, Johan Pilestedt, is thrilled with how smoothly things are running. He expressed his pride in the team for overcoming this challenge and ensuring a seamless gaming experience for all players.
Helldivers 2 saw a peak of 458,709 concurrent players on Steam over the weekend, setting a new record for the game. With this success, Pilestedt announced that the studio can now shift focus towards enhancing the game and bringing in new content.
