Assassin’s Creed Mirage on mobile: a dream soon to come true
It’s a few weeks from the launch that the gaming community learns that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on additional gaming platforms. The information indeed came during the Apple 2023 Keynote, an event which focused on the arrival of the brand new generation of iPhone.
The iPhone 15 was therefore announced yesterday evening. Apple’s new phone arrives with a more attractive price than before – the iPhone 15 is priced at $799, unlike the iPhone 14 which was sold for $824 or the iPhone 12 which was sold for $943 –, and above all a feature that was expected to say the least. Apple’s smartphone is already considered the next benchmark in mobile gaming. This is also why Ubisoft is betting on this new phone for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
iPhone 15, soon the benchmark for video games?
If Assassin’s Creed Mirage will initially be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, that is to say on October 5. The title will be entitled to a new release next year.
You understand, Ubisoft’s game will land on iPhone 15 Pro at the beginning of 2024. In other words, even if the saga Assassin’s Creed has already made a few small excursions on mobile, this is the first time that an AAA episode will have the right to a real release on mobile.
Soon, another Assassin’s Creed game will see the light of day on mobile. A certain Assassin’s Creed Jade will indeed land on iOS and Android. The latter presents itself as an Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in China.
Finally, note that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is not the only video game blockbuster to see the light of day on iPhone 15, since The Division Resurgence, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Village and Death Stranding have also been announced on this gaming platform. It remains to be seen whether everything will hold up.
