About Baldur’s Gate 3
Baldur’s Gate 3 was developed by Larian, the team behind Path of Exile 2. It can be played as a single-player or multiplayer game, offering players a rich narrative with unparalleled freedom, high-stakes decisions, unique companion characters, and memorable combat. The objective is to save Baldur’s Gate in the Forgotten Realms from a malevolent presence.
The game is a collaboration with the Dungeons & Dragons team at Wizards of the Coast, and it is based on the latest mechanics and spells from the popular tabletop role-playing game.
Platform Releases
Baldur’s Gate 3 will be available on the PS5 next month. However, Larian has indicated that the Xbox version may not be released until 2024. Michael Douse, Larian’s director of publishing, mentioned on Twitter that they are working hard to achieve seamless drop-in, drop-out co-op on the Xbox Series S, and they hope to provide an update by the end of the year.
