What to Expect from the Beta

EA has confirmed that the Battlefield 6 open beta will be available to all players on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA app. The beta runs over two weekends: August 9-10 and August 14-17, but early access starts this Thursday, August 7. Those with an EA Play Pro subscription or players who registered for Battlefield Labs before July 31 will be the first to experience the new features.

During the beta, gamers can explore four multiplayer maps: Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak, Iberian Offensive, and Empire State. Five thrilling modes will also be featured—Conquest, Closed Weapons Breakthrough, Breakthrough, Rush, and Squad Deathmatch—giving players plenty to sink their teeth into.

Looking Ahead

When Battlefield 6 officially launches on October 10, 2025, players can look forward to nine multiplayer maps in total, including the fan-favorite Operation Firestorm from Battlefield 3. Developer DICE has been listening to the community and may incorporate more classic maps based on player feedback, keeping the experience fresh and engaging.

To enhance multiplayer lobbies, the game will also utilize bots to fill empty slots, ensuring that players can jump into action without long waits. As the countdown to the beta continues, excitement is palpable, setting the stage for what’s sure to be an exhilarating release.
