Borderlands 3 is now available on Google Stadia - but there are months behind patches

Borderlands 3 by Gearbox Software is now available from Google Stadia, but it’s a two-month-old version of the game. In particular, updates were not made until October 24th. Changes to Borderlands 3 have not been included in the Stadia version since then.

What’s the big deal That means there is no Mayhem 4 difficulty level, no bank room, no dedicated loot pools for bosses or the new endgame content. Gearbox wanted to release “feature parity for all versions of Borderlands 3” in early 2020, but did not give an exact date.

Borderlands 3 on Stadia is available at a special price until January 7th – $ 38.99 for the Standard Edition, $ 51.99 for the Deluxe Edition and $ 77.99 for the Super Deluxe Edition. Gearbox said it will run in 4K with a Stadia Pro subscription.

On December 17, Google Stadia also added Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 to its lineup. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is active today.

Google Stadia launched 22 games on November 19, but without some of the promised key features. Since then, Google has slowly introduced more games and features in the months after Stadia launched.
