CD Projekt Red Announces Cyberpunk 2077 Extension: Phantom Liberty
Last September, CD Projekt officially announced the first extension of Cyberpunk 2077. Entitled Phantom Liberty, this new adventure between thriller and spy film offers us to embody V, as in the game original. This time, the player embarks on a perilous mission to rescue the NUSA President in the dangerous neighborhood of Dogtown. In the heart of this hot zone of Night City, it will be necessary to forge alliances and collaborate with characters like Solomon Reed, a seasoned agent of the FIA played by Idris Elba.
An extension rich in novelties?
If the context of this extension is now known, CD Projekt Red took advantage of the Gamescom opening ceremony to unveil a new extract from Phantom Liberty, this time focused on gameplay. One thing is certain is that the skill tree devoted to the Relic, the cybernetic chip in V’s brain, is indeed exclusive to Phantom Liberty. New Content to Explore
Beyond these significant changes, the novelties of Phantom Liberty are particularly found in the content. So, on will be able to discover a new district, that of Dogtown with dynamic events and missions to make it more alive. To develop the story, dozens of new quests are planned while from a gameplay point of view, the level maximum will be increased while a hundred new objects will be added such as weapons, augmentations or even clothing.
