Great news for Xbox Game Pass users – Dead Island 2 is now available on console! Unfortunately, PC players will have to wait a bit longer.
The game, initially announced in 2014, had a rocky road to release with multiple delays and changes in developers. However, it was finally released last April to much success, exceeding expectations by selling millions of copies in just a few days.
And if you’re a PC player, don’t worry – Dead Island 2 will be coming to Steam on April 22. Additionally, two story expansions are in the works, with the first already released and the second scheduled for launch in the second quarter of 2024. Both expansions are included in the game’s Expansion Pass, priced at $29.99 / £24.99. Keep an eye out for more updates and expansions!
