A new update for Deadside, known as Update 0.11.0, has recently been released. This update is accessible across all gaming platforms, as well as on PC. GGHost Hardware Upgrades:

  • GGHost now features top-of-the-line hardware, including Ryzen 9 79XX CPUs, DDR5 Memory, NVMe Storage, and 20Gbps Connectivity, providing players with a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience.

Craftable Sleeping Bags:

  • Players can now craft sleeping bags and place them almost anywhere on the map, creating convenient respawn points with a cooldown timer. This new feature adds a strategic element to respawning and allows players to strategically place respawn points in key locations.

Adjustments to Respawning Mechanics:

  • With the introduction of sleeping bags, the respawn mechanics have been adjusted to provide a more dynamic gameplay experience. Additionally, respawn beacons are now available to squad members, enhancing communication and teamwork within the game.

Improved Explosive Charge Deployment:

  • Players can now place explosive charges in the game world through a throw animation, allowing for faster deployment and adding a new level of tactical gameplay to Deadside.

Expanded Kamensk Area:

  • The Kamensk area has been expanded with new caves, campsites, and achievements, providing players with new challenges and opportunities for exploration.

Notable Fixes and Changes:

  • Fixed the issue where the sound of looting a corpse could be heard on the death screen.
  • Fixed the issue where it was not possible to dismantle certain items during a raid.
  • Omul can now be sold to a trader for 500, with adjusted fish meat yields for Omul, Perch, and Burbot.
  • Wolf Pelt prices have been raised to 1000.
  • Character collision with doors has been redesigned to reduce incidents of characters getting pushed into nearby objects.
  • Added SFX for roe deer in an idle state and corrected/added sounds for rooftops of skyscrapers and cranes.
  • Fixed bugs related to VSD SFX, interaction sounds with water in swamps, and base icon disappearance for registered players.
  • Melee damage through walls bug has been fixed.
  • Optimized technical performance of SFX.
  • Significant work on server optimization and GGHost integration for improved overall performance.
