Since the beginning of June, the fans from around the world were able to roam the hellish lands of Diablo IV. Whether fans of the license or neophytes who had never touched it, most are delighted with their experience. The launch of the title went well, and Blizzard is currently dealing with updates and upcoming seasons. Even if there are always dissatisfied players, in particular concerning the “sense of priorities” of the North American company, the opinions on this title are mostly positive.

It must be said that the fans savor this fourth opus which took more than 10 years to see the light of day after the release of Diablo III. Many don’t expect to see a sequel for as long, if not longer. Nevertheless, this information has been denied by the current president of Blizzard!

Few already imagine the sequel to Diablo 4 as the wait was long before touching this title. However, Mike Ybarra, the president of Blizzard said that the fifth installment would come sooner than some think. It was on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he dropped this capital information, responding to the editor of IGN. The latter expressed all his love for the fourth opus and, thanking him, Mike Ybarra evoked the sequel to the hack ‘n’ slash that few players already dared to hope for.

Blizzard has done a phenomenal job. I have absolutely nothing against Zelda, but Diablo 4, dated August 14, is my choice personally for Game of the Year so far. And even if another game ends up getting my vote, as a Diablo fan, I’m so grateful that the long wait between D3 and D4 has been rewarded with such an incredibly fun, deep, and replayable game. Diablo 4 shatters Diablo 3 and is on par with Diablo 2, in my opinion.
