Atomfall’s Wicked Isle DLC Launches This June

Gamers, get ready for an exciting new chapter! Atomfall’s highly anticipated story expansion, Wicked Isle, is set to drop on June 3, making its way to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at 2 PM BST. Developed by the UK-based studio Rebellion, this DLC promises to elevate your gameplay experience.

To dive into Wicked Isle, players will need to own the Atomfall Deluxe Edition, currently priced at £64.99 on Steam or £74.99 on consoles. If you’ve already ventured into the base game, upgrading to the Deluxe Edition is just £20. This upgrade unlocks additional in-game survival items and bundles that are sure to enhance your journey.

What’s New in Wicked Isle?

Alongside the release date, Rebellion has released a new gameplay trailer showcasing some thrilling features. The trailer reveals a brand new exploration area, packed with fresh enemies, unique items, and a storyline brimming with new twists and multiple endings for the main game.

Inspired by folk horror narratives, Wicked Isle transports players to the eerie Midsummer island. Access the island through a chat with the boat-keeper in Wyndham Village, but be prepared! The area is rife with higher infection levels, giving rise to formidable foes such as pirate bandits and infected druids.

New weaponry is on the horizon, including the Blunderbuss shotgun, a new bow, a cutlass, daggers, and the intriguing Beekeeper’s Staff. Players can also unlock exciting new skills and an upgraded metal detector to uncover hidden treasures, adding layers of depth to the gameplay.
