EA Sports PGA Tour Update 1.000.019 Patch Notes

UI Fixes:

1. [Inventory] Fixed inventory sorting so that it is case-insensitive:

  • Previously, the game had an issue with inventory sorting where it didn’t consider the case of characters. This caused confusion and made it difficult for players to find specific items in their inventory. With this update, the issue has been addressed, and inventory sorting will now take into account the case of characters, making it easier for players to navigate their inventory.

2. [Online] Removed leaderboard access from Online lobbies because it caused issues like invisible golfers if the player was viewing leaderboards while the lobby transitioned to gameplay:

  • The previous version of the game allowed players to access leaderboards while in Online lobbies. However, this feature caused several problems, including invisible golfers when transitioning from the lobby to gameplay. To ensure a smooth gaming experience, this update removes leaderboard access from Online lobbies.

3. [Specs] Fixed hybrid club images being shown for common, epic, and legendary driver specs:

In the previous version, a visual glitch occurred where hybrid club images were displayed instead of the correct images for common, epic, and legendary driver specifications. This issue has been resolved in the current update, and players will now see the correct images for their driver specs, enhancing the visual accuracy and realism of the game.

4. [Store] Fixed an issue where scrolling between pages could show contents from other pages instead of “Coming Soon” tiles:

  • Players encountered a bug in the store where scrolling between pages would sometimes display contents from other pages instead of the intended “Coming Soon” tiles. This confusion caused frustration among players. With this fix, scrolling between pages in the store will no longer show incorrect contents, ensuring a seamless browsing experience.

5. [Store] Added category text to clarify the contents of each store page:

  • To provide players with better clarity and understanding of the contents of each store page, this update introduces category text. This text will accompany each store page, clearly identifying the types of items and features available, making it easier for players to navigate and find what they are looking for.

Stability Fix:

  • Fixed a crash that occurred when navigating directly between the Skills and Pro Pass tabs:
  • Previously, players experienced a crash when trying to navigate directly between the Skills and Pro Pass tabs within the game. This bug hindered the smooth progression and overall stability of the game. With this fix, players can now seamlessly switch between the Skills and Pro Pass tabs without encountering any crashes, ensuring a more stable and uninterrupted gaming experience.By addressing these UI and stability issues, the EA Sports PGA Tour update 1.000.019 greatly improves the overall gameplay experience. Players can now enjoy a more organized and intuitive inventory sorting system, smoother transitions between Online lobbies and gameplay without any visual glitches, accurate representation of driver specifications, and improved browsing experience in the store with added category text. Additionally, the stability fix eliminates crashes when navigating between the Skills and Pro Pass tabs, ensuring a more seamless and stable gameplay experience. These fixes enhance the quality and reliability of the game, providing players with a more immersive and enjoyable golfing experience.
