UI/UX:

  • Addressed player feedback regarding the Map not centering on the player’s deployment location, causing confusion. Now, when deploying far from the first quest point, the first car’s deployment zone list will open immediately, centering the camera on the car and providing a clearer understanding of the deployment location.
  • Made significant changes to all car description variants, structuring the information to display truly important details for players. The layout and visual composition have been improved, making interactive elements more apparent. These modifications have been implemented across all instances where car information is displayed, such as the Garage, Truck store, and Map.
  • Improved the car card in the store, adding DLC content display and correcting layout flaws. The card now precisely shows the information that is crucial for players when considering adding a car to their garage.
  • Added the ‘Recommend’ label for the Little Colorado region, guiding novice players to start with the easier region and gradually progress to more challenging quests. This label provides a clearer indication for players on their optimal progression path.
  • Fixed a bug where the notification of the scanned area did not disappear after using the radar. Previously, the notification would persist on the screen even after using the radar. Now, the notification disappears correctly, providing a more seamless gameplay experience.
  • Fixed the movement between addons in the Garage, which was blocked after returning from the Codex. Players can now navigate between addons in the Garage without any issues.
  • Improved the layout of pop-ups for Completed quests and New tasks, aligning them with the patterns defined on the HQ screens. This improvement provides better understanding of rewards and objectives for players.
  • Trucks, vehicle addons, base modules, and specialists are now properly displayed in the reward pop-ups of expeditions, contracts, and tasks. Previously, players would receive these rewards, but there was no mention of them in the UI. This fix ensures that players are informed about their earned rewards.
  • Improved PROS pop-ups, enhancing the visual presentation and clarity of information.
  • Added a slider when selecting base modules to build, allowing players to have more precise control over their choices.

Gameplay:

  • Implemented a feature that resets all incomplete tasks and contracts upon exiting to the HQ, resolving an issue where returning to the HQ after completing a contract/task stage with a unique item would lead to softlocks. Previously, players would need to manually restart the contract/task to respawn the unique item.
  • Increased the number of attempts to complete the Echo Sounder minigame to simplify quests for players. This adjustment was made based on player feedback regarding the difficulty of scanning fish in the minigame.
  • Objects discovered with binoculars are now displayed on the Map, ensuring that players can easily locate and interact with the discovered objects.
  • Added the key to use the car’s honk with the gamepad, allowing gamepad users to easily utilize this feature.
  • Fixed the sound of the Drone’s bad signal, ensuring that players can accurately understand the signal status from the interface.
  • Fixed the Seismic Vibrator’s sounds, providing a more immersive and realistic experience for players.
  • In the Tutorial, players can no longer open a refuel HUD in a stage with a refueling truck. Previously, the HUD would open and immediately close, requiring players to re-enter the main menu to proceed to the next stage. This fix ensures a smoother tutorial progression.
  • Fixed an issue in the minigame camera where too many fireflies were present at night. The fireflies’ visual effects would appear in pictures taken by players, sometimes overwhelming the scene. Now, the fireflies are appropriately balanced in the visuals.

  • WIP truck frame modules, namely the Living and Workshop modules, were mistakenly available for purchase in the garage. Players could spend money on the Workshop module without being able to install it, and the Living Module had no functionality but could still be bought and installed. These frame modules are now no longer available for purchase, preventing any unnecessary spending.
  • Addon purchase is now blocked in case of buying an invalid module, ensuring that players cannot accidentally purchase addons that are incompatible with the selected module.

Mod Support:

  • Added localization in the cheat pop-ups on the Polygon map, providing translated versions of the pop-up messages for players in different languages.
  • Added the new Expedition’s Readme file in the folder Guides, providing players with essential information and instructions for the new expedition.
  • Fixed a bug related to the Mod Browser, where the control in the saves screen would disappear after removing or installing a mod in the mod browser. This fix ensures that the control remains visible and functional, allowing players to navigate the mod browser effectively.

Localization:

  • Fixed the description of the Expanded parking and Tow truck modules, ensuring accurate and clear descriptions for players.
  • Fixed the description of consumables in the trade window for the sideboard, providing accurate information about consumables to players.
  • In the Garage, the requirement to open the “Complete _ to unlock” addon is now displayed in all supported languages, making it clear to players what needs to be done to unlock specific addons.
