A new update for Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, known as Update 1.04, has recently been released. This update is accessible across all gaming platforms, as well as on PC. Trucks:
- The Scout 800 has been added as a free truck with a unique skin, providing players with more options for their off-road adventures.
- Free skins have been added for ANK, YAR, and Khan Marshall, allowing players to customize their trucks without any additional cost.
- An added vanilla skin for Tuz 108 is now available for PROS registration, giving players a new cosmetic option to unlock.
- A bug that previously allowed the sale of previously sold tires has been fixed, improving the overall economy within the game.
- The price of default wheels has been changed to 0 credits to prevent abuse in the in-game economy and balance gameplay.
- Collisions of consumables have been disabled on vanilla trucks to improve performance and gameplay experience.
- Stones no longer get stuck to the Loadstar 1700’s suspensions, addressing a frustrating issue for players.
- Missed hubs on the Step 310E (high suspension and ultimate) have been fixed, improving the functionality of the truck.
- Skins for YAR 87, ANK 38, and Khan Marshall have been reordered, placing special skins at the top of the list and adding new skin icons for easier navigation.
Crashes:
- Fixed a crash on Xbox related to changing users after suspending, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience for Xbox players.
Gameplay:
- An alternative gamepad scheme based on SnowRunner’s controls has been added for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation players, offering a familiar control layout.
- Players are now warned about resetting progress of side activities before leaving an expedition, preventing accidental loss of progress.
- The controls for the Tire Inflation system have been changed to improve usability with the ‘Esc’ button for better navigation.
- All outposts now have a vehicle landing limit of 4, increasing the number of vehicles players can access at each outpost.
- Building bridges is now available, expanding strategic options for players during gameplay.
- Various bug fixes and improvements have been made to side quests, tutorials, and gameplay mechanics to enhance the overall player experience.
UI:
- Various UI improvements have been made, including an automatic focus on the active truck on the map, a Time skip button, and improved icon displays for outposts and expedition details.
- The Summary window now shows prices of all items for sale before leaving expeditions, helping players make informed decisions.
- Garage issues, such as the ‘new’ label failing to disappear and misaligned icons, have been fixed to enhance functionality and usability.
Localizations:
- Texts on the Radial menu no longer cut off after changing game localization, improving readability for players.
- Czech localization has been added to PROS screens in the Main Menu, enhancing accessibility for Czech-speaking players.
- Descriptions for modules in the Modules window have been added, providing players with more information about in-game items.
Sounds:
- Various sound improvements have been made, including honk sounds for trucks, slider and click sounds in Photomode, and adjustments to water and truck interaction sounds for a more immersive experience.
Mod Support:
- Various improvements have been made to mod support, including navigation button functionality and the ‘Add Model’ window fitting onto the screen.
- Updated links to Expedition guides on the Editor’s panel provide players with easy access to resources for creating their own content.
