Fortnite Welcomes Avatar: The Last Airbender Gameplay
Fortnite fans, get ready for an electrifying update! Epic Games is launching a new Blitz Royale ruleset that dives into the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. This limited-time game mode, running until July 15, is tailor-made for mobile play, featuring fast-paced matches that last around five minutes.
Every week, players can expect an exciting twist in gameplay, with the Avatar theme rolling out in week two. The Fortnite Avatar Returns event kicks off on June 24 across all platforms, promising a blend of nostalgia and thrilling new mechanics.
Experience the Avatar Returns Event
This one-week event allows players to embark on their journey equipped with a Bending Scroll from the series. According to Epic Games, “Pagodas from the Four Nations†will appear on the map, enhancing the immersive experience.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Starting July 1, a new gameplay element will launch with the Bad Bosses event, introducing powerful boss weapons like Thorne’s Vampiric Blade and the Blitz Chain of Hades. Then, from July 8 onward, players can gear up for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event, dubbed TMNT Melee Mayhem. This event brings melee weapons from the TMNT universe, including Megalo Don’s Nitro Fists, the Mythic Typhoon Blade, and the Blitz Kneecapper.
If you haven’t tried Blitz Royale, you’re missing out on a 32-person showdown where everyone starts with the same random Medallion or unique weapon. The map may be small, but the combat is intense!
Advance your Blitz Levels by taking out opponents and surviving the Storm circles, all while looting Golden Chests for power-ups and Golden Supply Drops for more Medallions. Players who earn ten Account Levels in Fortnite or finish in the top ten in 20 different Blitz Royale matches will unlock the exclusive Blitz Knight Outfit, available until July 15.
