Experience the Excitement of the New Squid Grounds Map

Fortnite’s Squid Grounds Map: What Gamers Need to Know

Fortnite just dropped a bombshell for fans! The highly anticipated Squid Grounds map will be the sole Reload map during the launch weekend, setting the stage for a thrilling gaming experience. And guess what? It’s replacing the Oasis map in the long run.

What can players expect from Squid Grounds? This map boasts staged town sets and a hollowed-out labyrinth, alongside the nostalgic game of Red Light Green Light. With points of interest (POIs) like Player’s Power, Square Meals, and Affluent Arrivals, getting familiar with the layout is a must. Other areas include Costly Condos, Manager’s Meals, Designer Docks, Phoney Crossroads, Hectic Hedges, Red Greens, and The Labyrinth.

In addition to the map, Fortnite Reload will introduce exciting new weapons. Players can get their hands on the Red-Eye Submachine Gun, the Uncommon Boogie Bomb, and the Itemised Glider Redeploy. Plus, don’t forget that the Squid Game map launches in tandem with the Rank Reset in Fortnite Reload. Talk about timing!

Squid Game Crossover: New Skins and Accessories

Before players dive into the Squid Grounds, Epic Games is amping it up with a selection of Squid Game skins. Catch them in the Item Shop with a reset at 1 am BST on June 27. That’s 8 pm ET on June 26 for those tuning in from the US.

This crossover features a range of skins, including the Guard and Manager skins, along with the Squid Game Player skins. Each Guard and Manager skin is priced at 1,500 V-Bucks, while Squid Game Players go for 1,200 V-Bucks. And for those looking for extra flair, there’s an accessory pack for 700 V-Bucks.

What’s inside this accessory pack? It comes loaded with the Delicious Dalgona Backbling, the Ddakji Box Backbling, the Squid Shape Wrap, and the Lil’ Prized Piggy Bank emote. Get ready to gear up and join the fun in style!
