Exciting news for racing game fans! Electronic Arts has officially announced that F1 24 will be hitting shelves on May 31, 2024.
This latest installment in the popular Codemasters’ series will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, through EA App, Epic Games Store, and Steam.
If you pre-order F1 24 Champions Edition by April 24, you’ll get special access to Time Trial challenges featuring the new Alpine, Haas, McLaren, and Williams 2024 team cars before the season’s first race this weekend.
Until May 31, players who own F1 2021, F1 22, or F1 23 can enjoy a 15% discount when pre-ordering F1 24 Champions Edition. Plus, you’ll receive the McLaren and Alpine 2023 F1 esports liveries that will carry over to F1 24.
“Our F1 23 players can now dive right into the 2024 season with their favorite teams ahead of this weekend’s Lights Out,” said Lee Mather, senior creative director at Codemasters.

In other news, EA recently had layoffs at Codemasters in the UK. This came after the studio’s last two releases, F1 2023 and EA Sports WRC, faced challenges in the market.
Back in 2021, EA acquired Codemasters for $1.2 billion, outbidding Rockstar owner Take-Two for the purchase.
