Final Fantasy XIV Update 9.53 – Patch Notes 6.15
Patch 6.15 brings a multitude of additions and refinements to the game, including new custom deliveries featuring Ameliance, Arkasodara tribal quests, and Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures.
* Additional features will be implemented in future updates:
Data Center Travel is scheduled to be implemented in Patch 6.18.
* Several minor issues with the adventurer plate feature will be addressed in Patch 6.15. More significant changes to improve ease of use will be implemented with its official release scheduled for Patch 6.2.
Patch 6.15 contains content that can only be accessed by registering the expansion packs for FINAL FANTASY XIV to your service account. To distinguish between adjustments that are and are not affected by the registration of these expansions, the following notations will be used throughout the patch notes:
These additions and adjustments only require the purchase of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn and FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward.
These additions and adjustments require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood.

New quests
- Two new Chronicles of the New Era quests, from the questline “Omega: Beyond the Rift” were added.
- The players must be level 90 and complete Endwalker MSQ, as well as Omega’s last quest “A Dream in Flight.”
- New quests from “Tataru’s Grand Endeavor” line, linked to Alliance raids.
- New Hildibrand quests added.
- The players must be level 90 and complete Endwalker MSQ, as well as the “Don’t Do Dewprism” Hildibrand quest.
- New Custom Delivery quests added.
- The players must have crafting or gathering job level 80 and complete Endwalker MSQ, as well as the “Go West, Craftsman” delivery quest.
- New Arkasodara tribal quests added.
- The players must be level 80 and complete Endwalker MSQ, as well as the “A Budding Adventure” quest.
- The beast tribe currency, rewards, and daily quests were added too.
- New Game Plus quests added.
Other new content
- New Housing items added.
- Includes outdoor and indoor Furnishing.
- New Orchestrion rolls added.
- New Recipes added.
- New music, achievements, and trophies added.
- New gathering locations added.
- New mount and minion added.

- High-end gear can now be desynthesized, sold, and submitted for expert deliveries.

PvP changes
- Ninja has received a nerf.
- Hidden effect now ends upon using Sprint.
- Meisui’s base cure potency reduced by 2,000.
- Black Mage has received a nerf.
- Paradox charges are removed.
- Night Wing’s half-asleep effect no longer has an effect on movement speed.
- Soul Resonance damage reduction effect lowered by 10 percent.
System
- The game’s client can no longer be launched on Windows 7 and Mac 32-bit.
- Several bugs fixed, linked to quest dialogues, Adventurer’s Plates, PvP, and quest symbols.
- More bug fixes and quality-of-life changes on Adventurer’s Plates are scheduled for patch 6.2.
Resolved Issues
- The following issues have been addressed.
- An issue when undertaking the Myths of the Realm quest series wherein the symbols for Menphina and Halone in the Omphalos were incorrect.
- An issue wherein graphics did not display properly in certain areas.
- An issue wherein the cursor would reset to its default position each time a monk PvP action was set to the hotbar using a gamepad.
- An issue wherein the additional effect listed in the help text of the ninja PvP action Meisui was incorrect.
* This issue did not affect the functionality of this action. - An issue wherein effect duration listed in help text for the PvP red mage action Resolution was incorrect.
* This issue did not affect the functionality of this action. - An issue wherein Zodiac Weapons did not gain light upon completion of the Praetorium or the Minstrel’s Ballad: Ultima’s Bane.
- An issue wherein item level sync disabled itself upon entering the duty the Minstrel’s Ballad: Ultima’s Bane with Minimum IL enabled.
- An issue in Crystalline Conflict on the Cloud Nine map wherein the tactical crystal would travel in the wrong direction despite your team having control of it.
- An issue in Crystalline Conflict wherein teams were not declared the winner despite reaching 100% progress.
- An issue in Crystalline Conflict wherein matches that entered overtime mistakenly resulted in a draw under certain circumstances.
- An issue wherein the hot water and steam graphics of the Alpine Open-air Bath furnishing did not display correctly.
- An issue when summoning retainers wherein error messages for sale items would display even when retainers were not in possession of the indicated items.
- An issue wherein switching to a gear set linked to a portrait caused instant portraits to display default images under certain circumstances.
- An issue where company crests displayed in the portrait editing window.
- An issue wherein motions for the ninja PvP action Fleeting Raiju would not replay in the group pose mode.
- Other minor text issues have also been addressed.

Known Issues
- An issue in the quest “The Sleeping Gentleman” wherein dialogue is attributed to the wrong character.
- An issue when viewing the minion guide wherein the description of the wind-up Arkasodara minion overlaps its illustration.
