Next year, DC Comics will release a big anniversary edition of Wonder Woman, which will usher in a new phase of the hero’s mission in Man’s World, and Polygon will be offering an exclusive look at art from the 96-page anthology.
Wonder Woman # 750 will feature stories by Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott, who have, among other things, modernized the iconic work on the character in 2016, Diana’s Origin. Gail Simone and Colleen Doran, who will play their character Star-Blossom from the Wonder Woman 75th Anniversary Special 2016; and Mariko Tamaki and Elena Casagrande. Below is a preview of all work.
DC Comics has also assembled a veritable army of new and old creators to contribute to Wonder Woman # 750, including Kami Garcia, Shannon and Dean Hale, Ramona Fradon, José Luis Garcia Lopez, Liam Sharp, Marguerite Bennett, Vita Alaya and Bilquis Evely. and of course the current Wonder Woman author Steve Orlando.
But just because it’s an anthology edition does not mean that, according to Orlando, it will not have a far-reaching impact on the Amazonian princess.
I’m on the verge of what I can say, but if everything goes according to plan, Wonder Woman 750 will reinforce Diana’s mission, it will be the beginning of a new phase of the Amazon mission, and in the end, it will do every tool in Diana’s arsenal be a powerful reminder of the heroic women who came before her . https://t.co/18KHLzG7nf
