A new update for Foamstars, known as Update 2.01, has recently been released. This update is accessible across all gaming platforms, as well as on PC. Players can now download this update, which introduces bug fixes, improvement updates, and patch notes for the game. It is worth noting that the file size of this update may differ depending on the gaming platform being used.
Foamstars Update 2.01
New FOAMSTAR: Coiff Guy
- The latest update introduces a new FOAMSTAR named Coiff Guy. Players can find detailed character information on the official website. Coiff Guy can be unlocked as a Season Tier 31 reward in the free “GROOVY DISCO” Season Pass or immediately with a Premium Pass.
Season Events:
- Happy FriYAY Party – A special Happy FriYAY party will take place at the beginning of each new season, with additional parties during the final week.
Extreme Party – Two new types of Extreme Parties with unique rules will be featured this season. - Ranked Party – This season will include solo Ranked Party Lonestar and group Ranked Party Tribe-Vibe events. Ranked Parties will now be available throughout the entire season.
Ranked Party Updates:
- Ranked Party Tribe-Vibe will be available from the start of the season, followed by Ranked Party Lonestar with the following changes:
- Changed to 3 matches.
- Lowered frequency of Rank-Up Challenges.
- Rank-Up Challenges now require 0 RP.
- Improved team balancing in matchmaking.
Shop Update:
- The in-game Shop has been updated with new items, including the Premium Pass: GROOVY DISCO. Additionally, players can now find one free item per week in the Limited Products section.
FOAMSTAR Mission Update:
- Three new FOAMSTAR missions (4-6) have been added, with Mission 6 featuring a boss battle against Dark Ramzey.
Character Adjustments:
Several FOAMSTARS have received balance adjustments:
- Soa: Camera angle adjustment for Bubble Step skill and added vibration effect for Gotta Crush Superstar Skill.
- Jet Justice: Ability to rotate the camera during Galactic Bubble Shield skill startup.
- The Baristador: Visual effect added to Super City Roast skill and camera rotation during Latte Art Royal skill startup.
- Mel T: Camera rotation feature added to Sumptuous Promo skill.
Controls and UI Updates:
- Controller vibration adjustments for PlayStation®4, camera rotation improvements, and better visual effects for liquid gauge recovery. Network latency icon added to the battle UI.
Bug Fixes:
- Multiple bug fixes implemented, including issues with application errors, matchmaking failures, movement glitches, and skill discrepancies for various FOAMSTARS. Lounge Decoration and Customize functions have also been fixed to improve player interaction and customization options.
