The Fortnite winter festival has started and this year Epic is celebrating with 14 days of celebrations. The event will feature some old, fan-preferred weapons and time-limited modes that allow for a return, new challenges and, of course, gifts for everyone.
During the Winter Festival, a new snowflake tab will be available in the lobby that will take players straight to Fortnite Chapter 2’s Winterfest Lodge. Players will find a new gift in the lodge every day.
Epic says there’s a lot of goodies in every new gift, including skins, gliders, pickaxes, wraps, emotes, and more. And each of these cosmetic bonuses is exclusive to this year’s winter festival. The best part? Every single gift can be opened by all players.
Winterfest Lodge also has stockings that players can visit for even more vacation rewards. The stockings will contain new challenges that can be completed for rewards and XP. Just like the gifts, these are updated daily, but you’ll need to do some work to get these rewards.
The Fortnite Winter Festival takes place from December 18 to January 2, 2020. If you miss a few days of celebrations, Epic says you can come back anytime before January 7, 2020 to recover.
