Forza Motorsport 1

A new update for Forza Motorsport, known as Update 6.0, has recently been released. This update is accessible across all gaming platforms, as well as on PC. Players can now download this update, which introduces bug fixes, improvement updates, and patch notes for the game. It is worth noting that the file size of this update may differ depending on the gaming platform being used.

New Content, Features, and Events [All Platforms]

Car Progression Changes

  • The level restriction on performance parts has been removed. All performance parts are now available at Car Level 1, allowing players to install them in any order they prefer.
  • Players now have the option to use in-game Credits to acquire Car Points. Exiting the upgrade screen will give the choice to spend 4,500 Credits for 500 Car Points. This change provides players the flexibility to immediately upgrade their cars using Credits or earn Car Points through car leveling.

Homespace

  • 8 new music tracks have been added to the game, composed by Kaveh Cohen, Michael Nielsen, and Peter Holmstrom. Players can enjoy these tracks in the Homespace environment.

  • Fixed a crash that occurred when entering Private Multiplayer lobbies.
  • Fixed a crash when selecting Practice during a Prototype Group Racing Series event.
  • Fixed a hard lock when transitioning from Race Results to Race Rewards after completing a race.
  • Fixed a crash when matchmaking into Featured Multiplayer events.
  • Fixed a crash when returning to Car Select in the Design & Paint menu after downloading a livery.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred after idling for an extended period in a Featured Multiplayer event.

PC

  • VRAM usage estimates for many settings have been improved.
  • Fixed an issue where the Names Over Cars panels were not correctly aligned while using ultrawide resolutions.

AI [All Platforms]

  • Improved Drivatar AI behaviors at the beginning of races to reduce mid-field collisions and breakaway drivers at race start through Turn 1.
  • Fixed numerous issues related to populating Drivatars in Free Play Multi-Class event setup.
  • Fixed an issue where AI drove erratically and sometimes left the track after resuming from Rewind.
  • Added notifications for relevant AI penalties.

Forza Race Regulations [All Platforms]

  • Increased accuracy in assigning fault to sideswipes.

  • Fixed various issues with specific car models, including lighting, visible gaps, missing parts, and incorrect animations.

Tracks [All Platforms]

  • Made updates to the Daytona International Speedway Pitlane Exit to prevent corner cutting through the pitlane.

Gameplay [All Platforms]

  • Fixed various issues related to gameplay mechanics, penalties, race setups, and UI elements like the Mini Leaderboard.
  • Improved the rewind feature to be available at race start and after one or more Drivatar AI cross the finish line before the player.
  • Fixed issues with fuel lap amounts, career mode menus, and setup changes in Private Multiplayer.

Livery Editor [All Platforms]

  • Added multiple Lighting Options to the Livery Editor menus to provide better visibility of designs in different conditions.
  • Fixed bugs related to personal colors, saving liveries, and layer masks in Vinyl Group thumbnails.

Photo Mode & Customization [All Platforms]

  • Fixed issues with loading tunes, windshield wipers in replays, and LED functionality on steering wheels.

Accessibility [All Platforms]

  • Added additional accessibility screen narration to the Livery Editor and Paint Shop menus.

Wheels [All Platforms]

  • Fixed issues with LED lighting on Logitech and Fanatec steering wheels.

Rendering [All Platforms]

  • Fixed various graphics issues, including flickering, ambient occlusion, and graphics mode switching.
