Speed is the name of the game, so don’t waste time and immediately dive into this weekend’s Free Play Day events! Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play The crew 2 and Trailmakers from Thursday, December 5 at 12:01 pm PST until Sunday, December 8 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
You can find and install the games here on Xbox.com. Clicking through leads you to the Microsoft Store, where you must be logged in to see the option to install with your Xbox Live Gold membership. To download on console, click on the Gold member section on the start dashboard of your Xbox One.
If you like what you have played and want to keep the fun fun, you can purchase the games and other editions at a discount and continue playing while maintaining your Gamerscore and achievements during the event! Keep in mind that the discount percentage can vary per region.
The crew 2
The Crew 2 is a “Car-PG” that allows you to collect and upgrade vehicles in a huge open world that you can cross over land, water or air in a number of cars, trucks, bicycles, planes and boats. The game has received a steady stream of free updates, including Gator Rush, who introduced hovercrafts; Demolition Derby, which has added destructible cars and a new Demolition Derby motorsport discipline; and Hot Shots, which brought new events, cars and customization options. With so much to do, you want to make sure that you are quickly off the line to participate in the Free Play Days event this weekend!
These free game days comes on the heels of the fourth major update of The Crew 2, Blazing Shots, which brings a whole range of new cars and events into the game. The Blazing Shots update introduces 12 new vehicles, new vanity items (including special tires and all-new underglow effects) and 17 new weekly Live Summits that give you the chance to compete against other players and climb through the ranks to to earn game rewards. New vehicles are added to the game every week, of which five are now available through the in-game store: the Citroën GT, Ferrari 599XX EVO, Porsche Carrera GT, Mazda RX-8 and Bugatti Veyron. A sixth vehicle, the Ford F-150 Raptor Race Truck Ghost Recon Edition, was also added to the roster as an exclusive prize in last week’s Ghost Road Live Summit.
Trailmakers
Build a great vehicle from blocks and explore an alien planet in Trailmakers. With this physics-based action game you can build everything from hypercars and helicopters to hovercrafts and hydrofoils. Play alone or with friends in huge sandbox cards or optimize your racing car to perfection in the Trailmakers Rally.
