New twist in the case of the takeover of Activision Blizzard King by Microsoft!
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has filed a notice saying it is appealing Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley’s ruling, but we won’t know the regulator’s arguments until the full appeal is submitted to the court. United States Court of Appeals. Brad Smith, president of Microsoft, said the court’s decision makes it clear that this acquisition is good for both competition and consumers. He adds that he is disappointed that the FTC is continuing to pursue the case.
The facts haven’t changed. We’re confident the US will remain among the 39 countries where the merger can close.
We look forward to demonstrate the strength of our case in short – again.

And it goes on and on and on
Nothing has yet been decided for Microsoft and Activision Blizzard King with this call. However, the two protagonists in this affair seem more ready than ever to take the next step. This is evidenced by the declaration of the Nasdaq100, a financial index listing the 100 non-financial companies with the highest market capitalization since Activision Blizzard will disappear from it on Monday:

What to consider that the Redmond firm is ready to validate at any time the acquisition of son coast. It should be recalled that last June, the Federal Trade Commission had obtained a restraining order preventing Microsoft from validating son redemption…until Friday, July 14, 11:59 p.m. PST. If the FTC hopes to obtain an extension of the restraining order to play the clock, it is quite the opposite of Microsoft and Activision Blizzard which have given themselves the deadline of July 18 to close the merger. In any state of causethe next few days will not be missed for anyone following the soap opera of this takeover.
