Details on Call of Duty 2023

Call of Duty 2023 is rumored to be a continuation of Modern Warfare 2, developed by Sledgehammer Games.

Last week, Activision confirmed that Modern Warfare 2 operators, weapons, and bundles will carry over into this year’s game, though it is yet to be officially revealed.

Additionally, maps and modes from Modern Warfare 2 will be included in the new title.

Early in the month, Activision referenced “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III” in DMCA takedown notices sent to Twitter users who shared leaked images of the game.

Activision reassured fans that development of this year’s premium Call of Duty release for PC and console is progressing well.

The company also announced that the first details about the game’s reveal event will be included in the Season 5 announcement of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, set to launch in early August.
