Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Unveils Season 5 Update

Call of Duty just surprised players with the announcement of Black Ops 6’s Season 5, set to launch on August 7. The new season will go live at 5 PM BST across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Activision’s latest blog post hints at an exciting array of changes and new content.

The timing of this season’s launch is noteworthy, coinciding with the early access beta for Battlefield 6. Will the allure of new maps and modes keep players hooked to Black Ops 6? Only time will tell.

New Content to Explore

Season 5 arrives with fresh multiplayer maps, game modes, and weapons. Players can dive into the action with the all-new Runway map, set at the Arzak Provincial Airport, where chaos ensues as a Rogue Black Ops team chases down their target amidst wreckage and flames.

Additionally, two more exciting maps, Exchange and World Motor Dynasty, join the lineup. Exchange is a vibrant three-lane locale in the Avalon marketplace, promising dynamic gameplay as players unleash havoc near a deli adorned with a mythic sea god’s statue.

The update also introduces a host of new weapons to bolster players’ arsenals, including the PML 5.5 LMG, the ABR A1 Assault Rifle, and even Boxing Gloves for some intense melee action.

Players can test their skills in the Aim High game mode, where every headshot leads to instant eliminations, adding a thrilling twist to gameplay.
