Call of Duty Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is Here!
Call of Duty just surprised players with the arrival of Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, set to drop on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Get ready for a thrilling new experience starting at 5pm BST on July 2.
The latest content update promises to shake things up with a range of exciting features, items, and gameplay tweaks. One of the significant changes takes place on the Verdansk map, specifically the Train, which has received some noticeable upgrades. This addition will not only enhance gameplay but also transform strategic approaches for players navigating the battlefield.
What’s Changing in Season 4
The Train now features a Buy Station and a UAV Tower, although it’s important to note that the UAV Tower will be disabled for Battle Royale Ranked matches. This tweak could change the way players think about their offensive and defensive strategies as they loot and prepare for confrontation.
In addition to map changes, a brand-new game mode enters the arena: Havoc Royale! Here, 44 players will face off in quick 15-minute matches, each round packed with unique gameplay modifiers. For instance, players could find themselves sporting Melon Heads in one match and turning into sacks of potatoes while crouching in another. It’s a wild ride that promises to keep everyone on their toes.
Besides enhancing the fun, the Reloaded update includes a multitude of user-interface improvements and numerous bug fixes. For example, fixes related to missing pros and cons for MW2 and MW3 weapon attachments have been implemented, along with adjustments ensuring loadout weapons don’t spawn inconsistently after a player is brought back into the game.
New Game Modes and Features
The Havoc Royale mode changes the dynamics significantly with unique items available at Buy Stations. Players can expect useful resources like Squad Buyback, Armor Plates, Gas Masks, and more, ensuring plenty of tactical options. Throughout the match, various modifiers will reshape the gameplay experience, including:
- Charge Jump: Leap into the air with superhuman power!
- Cranked: Stay in action or face explosive consequences.
- Crouch Potato: Crouched players transform into sacks of potatoes, regenerating health and armor!
- Melon Heads: Achieve deadly headshots with oversized watermelons!
- Make It Rain: Enjoy infinite fire with a waterfall of ammo!
- Unregulated Airspace: Utilize more Killstreaks simultaneously for explosive gameplay.
The Finale Modifiers, like Showdown where players receive identical Loadouts, and Rising Gas where players must ascend to safety, further ramp up the intensity and strategy involved.
Quality of Life Improvements
This patch also makes significant user-interface adjustments. Helicopter icons are now visible even at extreme altitudes, along with new options for in-game splash notifications, enhancing accessibility and overall player experience.
Additionally, several bugs have been squashed, including issues with weapon attachment descriptions and challenges not tracking correctly. Players can expect a smoother experience as they jump back into the action.
