Call of Duty: Season 4 Reloaded Is Here!
Call of Duty just surprised players with the highly anticipated Season 4 Reloaded update for Warzone and Black Ops 6. Fans worldwide are ready to dive in, especially with its July 2 release date across all major platforms, including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
The excitement builds as Activision confirms the update will go live at 5 PM BST in the UK, which translates to 9 AM PT for players in the US. Mark your calendars because this release is packed with thrilling features!
What’s Changing in Season 4
One of the standout additions is the long-awaited Cel-Shaded version of Rebirth Island, set to launch in the coming weeks. This vibrant visual twist will undoubtedly change the atmosphere of gameplay, making it more dynamic and engaging. Additionally, players will now be able to call in Care Packages for vital extra support, offering them two new gameplay items: the Hand Cannon and the Door Barricade.
The Door Barricade is a game-changer. Players can now secure locations by fitting a barricade to either single or double doors, with only the most intense bombardments breaking through these heavy-duty locks. Meanwhile, the Hand Cannon promises to deliver powerful shots, albeit with a slower rate of fire, adding a strategic layer to the weapon choices.
Another exciting feature is the introduction of the Search and Destroy Contracts. Here, squads will need to plant a bomb on a Buy Station while defending it from attackers. Successful teams will be rewarded with a Fire Sale discount, making this an opportunity too good to miss!
The Loot Master Perk also makes its entrance, allowing players to gain extra loot from supply caches. Expect more spawning items and boosted chances for high-tier gear, from Tacticals to Killstreaks. It’s all about gearing up for that ultimate victory!
As if that’s not enough, Warzone Season 4 Reloaded brings new game modes like Havoc Royale. In this limited-time mode, 44 players will drop into select areas of Verdansk, complete with special gameplay modifiers. Some modifiers will even grant abilities, such as superhuman jumps, drastically altering combat dynamics.
Fans can further enhance their experience by purchasing new items in the in-game store, including unique Beavis and Butthead operator skins. These offerings highlight the continuously evolving nature of the Call of Duty universe, blending nostalgia with fresh gameplay mechanics.
