Get Ready for Exciting PS Plus Games This June

Big News for PlayStation Plus Subscribers

PlayStation Plus subscribers are buzzing with excitement as they gear up for the reveal of the new Extra and Premium games for June 2025. After a couple of underwhelming months for these services, Sony has delivered a surprise during its Days of Play event, announcing several enticing titles, including the much-anticipated GTA 3 Definitive Edition, which hit PS Plus Extra on June 10.

Mark your calendars: the next wave of games will be officially unveiled at 4:30 PM BST on June 11. Players can start downloading and enjoying these new additions from June 17.

What’s Coming to PS Plus Extra

Among the new titles, one stands out—FBC Firebreak, a thrilling spin-off from the acclaimed Control franchise, is set to join PS Plus Extra on June 17. This co-operative shooter immerses players in the chaotic world of Control’s federal agency. With a gripping storyline, it places players into the shoes of the elite Firebreak unit, tasked with restoring order amid a siege that has reached its climax.

“As a years-long siege on the agency’s headquarters reaches its boiling point, only Firebreak – the Bureau’s most versatile unit – has the gear and the guts to plunge into the building’s strangest crises,” the description reveals. Teams of three will have to combine their efforts and strategize using various weapons and items to save the day.

In addition to FBC: Firebreak, fans have high hopes for the original Deus Ex, which is also on its way to PS Plus Premium this June. With interest flagging in the Premium category, further additions are much needed.

What Titles Could Join the Roster?

Players are speculating wildly about what other titles might make the cut this month. Many are betting on Resident Evil Village finally landing in Extra, particularly with the announcement of Resident Evil 9 Requiem set to launch next February. Bringing Village into the lineup now could give fans ample time to delve into its terrifying world.

Another title generating buzz is Atomic Heart, especially following the reveal of its sequel during the Summer Game Fest. On top of that, many are hopeful to see The Last of Us Part 2 make a long-awaited appearance, riding the coattails of the recent success of its HBO adaptation.
