Digital Eclipse has just dropped a bombshell on retro gaming fans: the release of Golden Tee Arcade Classics, a nostalgic compilation featuring eight iconic titles from the legendary arcade golf franchise.
This collection showcases six games from the beloved Golden Tee series, crafted by trackball experts Incredible Technologies. Players can look forward to experiencing the game’s rich history on a range of platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The digital launch is set for July 17, while physical copies will hit shelves on October 24.
Atari, the publisher behind the collection, has confirmed that it will include:

- Golden Tee 2K
- Golden Tee Classic
- Shuffleshot
- World Class Bowling
Beyond simply reliving these arcade classics, players will have access to an all-new practice mode. This lets you hone your skills with drives, chips, and putts, ensuring you’re not just rusty when it’s your turn. Plus, the introduction of a mulligan feature means you’ll have a set number of retries in each roundâ€â€a welcome twist for both casual players and competitive gamers.
Mike Mika, Atari’s chief creative officer, emphasizes the cultural significance of Golden Tee, stating, “It’s a phenomenon that brought people together in bars and arcades. With Golden Tee Arcade Classics, everyone can enjoy that same fun at home.†Modern enhancements, including trackball controls tailored for various play styles, keep the gameplay fresh and accessible.
But that’s not all! Digital Eclipse is also working on Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, a retro compilation that will revitalize the arcade, console, and handheld versions of Mortal Kombat 1-4. This collection promises to feature over 20 versions of these classic games, complete with modern enhancements and online play utilizing rollback netcode.
