Gearbox Publishing and Counterplay Games have announced Godfall, a new fantasy action RPG for PlayStation 5 and PC. Called a Plunder Butcher, Godfall uses intense third-person combat to hunt prey, armor, and defeat enemies.
The Counterplay Games team wants every hit in Godfall to play a role, and plans to reward the skill-based gameplay with a cycle that gives players the next loot they need to boost their character and improve their play style , The title can be played alone or together with a trio. Bosses and enemies are designed to co-op and have special abilities that allow multiple players to attack from different angles.
Godfall is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC in Holiday 2020 through the Epic Games Store.
