Ichiban Kasuga, the new face of Yakuza
For nearly 12 years, Kazuma Kiryu has been the face of the Yakuza series. Over the course of the episodes, the Dragon of Dojima has been able to make himself appreciated by fans, and this despite a rather taciturn nature, to the point of being annoying at times. Suffice to say that when Ryu ga Gotoku Studio announced the arrival of a new hero in 2020 with Yakuza: Like a Dragon, concerns were quickly felt. And yet, Ichiban Kasuga quickly knew how to find son public.
The Dragon Quest fan was able to reach the players thanks to son’s important sense of justice but above all mark them with his personality, which is excessive to say the least. If the change of face did not please everyone, at the global it was therefore rather well accepted. But the most nostalgic can still find Kiryu in Yakuza Like a Dragon 8. The latter showed up at the Xbox Games Showcase and took the opportunity to change his name.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth se met naked
Definitely, Ichiban Kasuga connects complicated awakenings. After opening his eyes in a trash can, our hero now wakes up on a beach. If until then there is no grand very embarrassing thing, it is without counting a detail for the least important. In this new trailer, Ichiban Kasuga is indeed completely naked. Even more surprising, he doesn’t seem to be in Kamurocho. The license will perhaps finally take us to explore other lands.
No way to be sure yet. Indeed, the game is still very mysterious. He just revealed son new name: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The appointment is fixed at start of 2024 on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Note that before that, players will still be able to immerse themselves in the universe of Yakuza and the skin of Kazuma Kiryu with Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. See you November 8, 2023 on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC for this one.
