The PlayStation VR game that will let gamers slip into Tony Stark’s Iron Guy suit requires more time in the laboratory. Designer Camouflaj announced on Friday that Marvel‘s Iron Male VR has been delayed to May15 Formerly, the PlayStation VR special was anticipated on Feb. 28.
Camouflaj revealed the delay on Twitter, stating it was postponing Marvel’s Iron Guy VR by 2 and a half months “to provide on our vision and fulfill the high expectations” of gamers.
In order to provide on our vision and meet the high expectations of our incredible community, we’ve made the hard choice to move Marvel’s Iron Guy VR to a May 15, 2020 release.

The PlayStation 4 game was announced in early 2019, and was originally slated for later that year. It promised “the supreme Iron Guy fantasy in VR,” enabling gamers to fly and combat in first person as Iron Male. When we played the PlayStation VR game last April, we discovered that Camouflaj had recorded the sensation of flying easily in Tony Stark’s super-powered fit, thanks to responsive, instinctive controls with the PlayStation Move controller.
Marvel’s Iron Male VR continues a pattern of significant video game hold-ups this week, another of which is based on a Marvel residential or commercial property. On Thursday, CD Projekt Red delayed the highly expected Cyberpunk 2077, pressing the game back five months, from April to September.
