Nearly 100 soundtracks are available, covering the extensive range of Nintendo’s history, from the Famicom and NES to the modern Nintendo Switch. The journey of the Pilotwings franchise began in 1990 with its original release on the Super Famicom / SNES, capturing hearts with its revolutionary use of Mode 7 graphics for a faux 3D effect. The series achieved a new level of immersion in 1996 with Pilotwings 64, which allowed players to explore expansive 3D environments across four picturesque islands.
After a long hiatus lasting 15 years, Nintendo resurrected the series with Pilotwings Resort for the Nintendo 3DS in 2011, set on the beloved Wuhu Island. This enchanting locale has appeared in various Nintendo titles, including Wii Sports Resort and Mario Kart 7.
