New Features and Villains
In May, Insomniac released the first gameplay video for Spider-Man 2, introducing exciting new features and revealing the key villain, Kraven the Hunter. Players will have the ability to seamlessly switch between both Spider-Men, with Peter donning a black symbiote suit that offers unique abilities.
“We’re no stranger to Spider-Man knocking heads, but never like this: he’s much more aggressive and punches certainly aren’t being pulled,” said Insomniac senior community manager Aaron Jason Espinoza. “Symbiote tendrils aggrandize Spider-Man’s silhouette, slamming foes against hard surfaces, dealing no mercy to Kraven’s Hunters.”
Pre-Orders and Release Date
Sony started accepting pre-orders for the PS5 game last month, following the announcement of a release date for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on October 20, 2023.
