July’s Xbox Live Games with Gold Titles Revealed
Microsoft has announced the lineup of Xbox Live Games with Gold for July 2023.
Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
From July 1-31, subscribers can claim Darkwood, a survival horror game known for its challenging gameplay that avoids jump scares. This game is usually priced at $14.99 / £12.99.
Starting July 16 until August 15, When the Past was Around, an adventure point-and-click puzzle game that delves into themes of love, moving on, and letting go, will be available for free. Its regular price is $8.49/ £7.09.
June’s Games with Gold Titles
For the remaining time in June, subscribers can still grab Adios (expires tomorrow) and The Vale: Shadow of the Crown (available until July 15).
No More Xbox 360 Titles
As of October 2022, Xbox Games with Gold no longer includes Xbox 360 titles. Microsoft cited licensing and technical constraints as the reason behind this change.
Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Series X Price Increase
In July, Microsoft will raise the price of Xbox Game Pass subscriptions. Additionally, the price of the Xbox Series X console will see an increase in August.
New Titles Coming to Xbox Game Pass
Microsoft also confirmed the forthcoming wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
