Exciting Changes Ahead for Monster Hunter Wilds
Capcom has just dropped a major update for fans of Monster Hunter Wilds. The highly anticipated extra endgame content originally slated for the Title Update 3 in September is now arriving sooner than expected.
In a recent announcement on the official Monster Hunter account, it was revealed that the Version 1.021 update, scheduled for August 13, will include this exciting new content. Originally intended for a later release, this change reflects Capcom’s commitment to keeping the player base engaged.
What’s Coming in Version 1.021
The update will introduce a new Quest difficulty level along with a revamped rewards system featuring “Talismans with random skill combinations.” This means that players can expect a richer endgame experience packed with new challenges and rewards.
Additionally, the August update will still encompass the previously planned adjustments to weapon balance, but now it will apply to an even broader range of weapons than initially announced. This bodes well for gameplay variety and strategy.
As for the much-anticipated Title Update 3, it will still make its debut in September, bringing with it a new monster and other enhancements. Following that, Title Update 4 is lined up for winter, promising even more formidable monsters and challenging hunts.
Since its launch in March, Capcom has already set records with over 10 million copies sold in its first month. While sales have slightly slowed, the series remains a titan, having sold over 122 million units in its history, placing it just behind the legendary Resident Evil series.
