Nacon has once again pushed back the release of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, as shown in their latest trailer showcasing off-road exploration and the vast open world of the game.
Originally announced in July 2020, the third installment in the Test Drive Unlimited series was initially set for a September 2022 release. However, due to delays, the new expected release date is now in 2024.
The recent trailer did not provide a specific release date, but Nacon mentioned it will be coming in 2024. A developer newsletter on the game’s Steam page indicated that the release date is still uncertain as they are focusing on ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for players.
The game promises an immersive experience with extraordinary cars on a luxurious island world, recreated at a 1:1 scale, with Hong Kong Island as one of the digital exploration locations.
Stay tuned for more updates on Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown as Nacon continues to work on improving server stability and game performance before announcing the official launch date. More test phases, including Closed Playtest 3, are on the horizon, offering players a chance to participate in the game’s development process.
