September Nintendo Direct Conference: A Preview of What’s to Come
Reports indicate that Nintendo is preparing to host a new Direct conference in September, despite having a dedicated Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct at the end of August. If the rumors are true, fans are hoping for a Switch 2 reveal before the anticipated release next year.
Anticipating the September Direct
Rumors are circulating that Nintendo might be having a conference in September. This news came from an industry insider named NateTheHate2 who responded to a question on Twitter.
When asked about the next Nintendo Direct conference, NateTheHate2 said that it would happen “soon-ish.” He also mentioned that the recent Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct doesn’t mean that Nintendo won’t have another conference soon.
Usually, Nintendo holds Direct conferences in September to showcase their winter line-up. Although there’s a chance that the company might reveal the new Nintendo Switch in this conference, it’s more likely that it will be revealed next year.
What to Expect
Gamers can anticipate updates on upcoming releases such as Super Mario RPG, WarioWare: Move-It, and Detective Pikachi 2. Additionally, new footage for the incoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC will be showcased, along with a few surprise announcements.
The first installment of the Pokemon DLC, entitled The Teal Mask, has a release date of September 13. This DLC takes place in the serene Land of Kitakami, where inhabitants reside at the base of a towering mountain.
Players will have the opportunity to wear a traditional jinbei outfit while discovering new Pokemon and uncovering the mysteries behind the region’s folklore.
Within the game, players will encounter three celebrated Pokemon heroes, Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti, who have previously protected the Land of Kitakami.
