A new update has been released for Nintendo Switch Firmware Update 14.1.0 with Patch Notes. You can find out all the details of the Game Update, Bug Fixes, improvements, and Patch Notes below. The Nintendo Switch Firmware Update 14.1.0 Patch Notes are now available for download, for all platforms, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PC. The file size may vary depending on the platform.

“Platinum Point Notification Settings” has been added under Notifications in System Settings.
- Unclaimed Platinum Points earned from completing Nintendo Switch Online missions on your Nintendo Switch system will generate notifications.
- Nintendo Switch Online missions and rewards are not available in some countries and regions. For more information, see How to Complete a My Nintendo Mission.
- Setting these notifications to OFF will hide the notification sent when there are unclaimed Platinum Points.
How to update your Nintendo Switch?
To update your Nintendo Switch, you need to do the following:
- Go to System Settings
- Now select System
- Now select System Update
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
How to Complete a My Nintendo Mission

- For a list of current My Nintendo missions, please check the My Nintendo Missions page.
- There are various different types of My Nintendo missions:
- Gold Points: Purchase a digital game (Nintendo Switch, Wii U, or Nintendo 3DS) OR register a physical game (Nintendo Switch only).
- Missions for Regular Platinum Points: Complete specified missions on My Nintendo to earn Regular Platinum Points.
- Nintendo Switch Online missions for Regular Platinum Points: Launch Nintendo Switch Online from the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu and complete missions from the “Missions & Rewards” section. For example, play the specified game from one of the classic game libraries to earn Regular Platinum Points.
- Nintendo Switch Online Missions & Rewards are available in the US, Canada, and Mexico, as well as in Japan, Australia, and all European countries where Nintendo Switch Online is available.
- Missions for Application Platinum Points: Complete missions related to specific smartphone or tablet applications. For example, complete a mission related to Super Mario Run to earn Super Mario Run Platinum Points.
