Is 90’s fever still a thing? It’s safe to be in Zen Studios as we have a fantastic year behind us in recreating the Flipper classics of the decade with our Williams Flipper packages. The latest of these has just arrived on Xbox One and Windows 10 and includes three major hitter tales of the Arabian Nights, Circus Voltaire and No Good Gofers.
Like all other Williams packages, Volume 5 offers the most perfect digitized simulation on the market – but for those looking for a little “video game” for their Xbox, they can make the improvements that are not possible on a physical computer button. The Genie throws fireballs at you in Arabian Nights, and an animated ringmaster triggers insults in Circus Voltaire – courtesy of Peter Grafl, Zen Pinball Designer. My favorite in the pack, however, is No Good Gofers, which combines golf mechanics like hole-in-one with pinball action. Granted, it also reminds me of “Caddyshack”.

No matter if you prefer to simulate or improve play, physics and play feel come first. We’ve honed our physics engine for weeks to get a detailed simulation that deserves those titles. We are in the same shoes as pinball machines all over the world – it is a real problem to find these machines in nature, especially in good condition. Our mission at Williams Tables is to preserve these works of art and give players the opportunity to play them daily.
