The PlayStation Now subscription service will add some strong players in the new year. Until January 2nd, subscribers will have access to Horizon Zero Dawn, Overcooked 2 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
PlayStation Now (not to be confused with PlayStation Plus) is a game streaming service based on Gaikai technology. In 2018, the option to download full games was added, eliminating latency issues for some users. Sony then lowered the price to just $ 9.99 a month. The service also offers a free 7-day trial for new users. So if you are giving away a console on this holiday, you should definitely mention this.
In December, PlayStation Now added PlayerUnknown’s battlefields, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and Formula 1 2019. Also keep in mind that Sony has a clear expectation when games will leave the PlayStation Now service. Some titles added in January will be released in April, while others added in December will be released in March. For details, see the official Sony PlayStation blog.
