The release date for Prison Architect 2 has been pushed back by six weeks, announced by publisher Paradox and developer Double Eleven. The game was originally set to launch on March 26 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam, but it will now be released on May 7, 2024.

The decision to delay the game was made to allow the development team to fix more bugs and optimize the game for all platforms. The team wants to ensure a smoother experience for players from day one.

In the meantime, fans can maximize their management skills by planning how they will organize their prisons in the game. Whether you’re a neat freak architect who prefers separate facilities for each security level, or a chaotic architect who will keep all spaces shared, the game promises to offer an engaging management experience.

The developers are excited to see how players will approach the game and have encouraged pre-orders for the upcoming release.
