A new update for PUBG, known as Update 2.58, has recently been released. This update is accessible across all gaming platforms, as well as on PC. Players can now download this update, which introduces bug fixes, improvement updates, and patch notes for the game. It is worth noting that the file size of this update may differ depending on the gaming platform being used.

World
- To celebrate the seventh birthday of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, Erangel has transformed into a venue for a grand celebration. The School in Erangel is now a lively venue for the 7th Anniversary celebration, and cafeterias across the map have been decorated as anniversary cafes. The 7th Anniversary cafes feature vending machines with a playful twist – there is a 7% chance of receiving 7 energy drinks from these machines. Throwable cupcakes and surprise gift boxes can be found scattered across the starting island of each map. 7th Anniversary billboards have been added to Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, and Rondo, and various other 7th Anniversary objects and decorations can be found throughout the game.
Gunplay Labs
- The SMG Rebalance, as outlined in the PUBG 2024 Roadmap announcement, is now available in the Arcade. Players are encouraged to provide feedback through a survey to help refine the changes. The SMG Rebalance is also accessible in Custom Match.
SMGs
- Movement Speed:
- Basic movement speed increased by approximately 2.6%.
- Sprint speed increased by approximately 2.4%.
MP5K
- Damage increased from 33 to 34.
- Horizontal recoil decreased by approximately 7%.
- Vertical recoil decreased by approximately 5%.
Micro UZI:
- Horizontal recoil decreased by approximately 10%.
- Vertical recoil decreased by approximately 15%.
Vector & Tommy Gun:
- Horizontal recoil decreased by approximately 5%.
- Vertical recoil decreased by approximately 7%.
PP-19 Bizon:
- Damage increased from 36 to 38.
- Horizontal recoil decreased by approximately 5%.
- Vertical recoil decreased by approximately 5%.
UMP45:
- Damage increased from 41 to 43.
- Horizontal recoil decreased by approximately 5%.
Damage by Distance:
- Adjustments have been made to damage reduction and minimum damage by distance for all SMGs, except the P90.
- Increased damage reduction for medium and long-range shots.
- Reduced the minimum damage for long-range shots.
Recall System
- Based on player feedback, the Recall System will now replace Comeback BRs on Vikendi and Taego. The Recall System is available in Normal Match, and Comeback BRs have been removed from these maps. The Recall System setting for Vikendi and Taego has been added to Custom Match.
Utility Belt
- The Utility Belt will be removed in this update, and its capacity feature will be integrated directly into the character’s basic stats. Utility Belt skins will also be removed, and players who currently own Utility Belt skins will receive compensations once the live server opens.
Gameplay
- A dedicated inventory slot for the Ghillie Suit has been added to help players make better use of their outerwear. When equipping the Ghillie Suit, existing outerwear will be hidden instead of dropping to the ground. Any looted outerwear will automatically be hidden when equipped with the Ghillie Suit.
Weapon Mastery
- Weapon Mastery has been expanded to include throwables and more. Seven new weapons have been added to Weapon Mastery: Frag Grenade, Molotov Cocktail, Sticky Bomb, BZ Grenade, C4, Panzerfaust, and Mortar. Damage inflicted with these weapons will now reflect in player stats on the End of Match, Career, and Match Report pages. The weapons that make the final hit will also be featured on player profiles. Weapon Mastery stats for these new weapons will accumulate starting from this update onwards.
Bug Fixes
Various bug fixes have been made, including fixing issues with character movement, safe zones, reload animations, visual distortions, vehicle and item interactions, and UI misalignments. Fixes have also been made for collision, texture, performance, and other general issues in the Deston map. Clipping issues with certain skins have been addressed, and the Rare Skin Cosmetics effect for the [PROGRESSIVE] Sun Wukong – M24 skin has been fixed.
