R6 Siege Update 1.000.071: Operator Balancing, Weapon Balancing, and Bug Fixes

OPERATOR BALANCING

ACE

  • S.E.L.M.A.’s fuse time has been increased from 3.2 seconds to 4 seconds.
  • This change gives defenders a bit more time to react and find cover before the explosive charges are activated, increasing the balance between attackers and defenders.

MAVERICK

  • Smoke Grenades have been added to Maverick’s loadout.
  • This addition provides Maverick with more tactical options and versatility, allowing him to create cover or concealment for his team.

THUNDERBIRD

  • Deployable Shield has been added to Thunderbird’s loadout.
  • This new addition enhances Thunderbird’s defensive capabilities, allowing her to provide additional cover and protection for her team.

KAPKAN

  • Bulletproof Camera has been added to Kapkan’s loadout.
  • This addition gives Kapkan more intel-gathering options and allows him to provide valuable information to his team.
  • Impact Grenades have been removed from Kapkan’s loadout.
  • This change reduces Kapkan’s ability to breach and create new lines of sight, but emphasizes his role as an information gatherer and area denial operator.

TUBARÃO

  • Zoto Canisters have been decreased from 4 to 3.
  • This change reduces the number of Zoto Canisters Tubarão has at his disposal, balancing his area denial capabilities.
  • Zoto Canisters no longer affect Maverick’s D.I.Y. Blowtorch.
  • This change prevents Tubarão’s Zoto Canisters from countering Maverick’s ability to breach reinforced walls discreetly.
  • The electrical insulation effect from Zoto Canisters on metallic objects (reinforcements, deployable shield, etc.) will now remain for an additional 1.5 seconds after the gadget ends or is destroyed.
  • This change extends the duration of the insulation effect, providing more protection to reinforced walls and other metallic gadgets.

WEAPON BALANCING

G-36C

  • The G-36C now has increased vertical and horizontal recoil.
  • This change makes the weapon slightly more challenging to control, increasing the skill required to use it effectively.

SMG-11

  • The damage of the SMG-11 has been reduced from 35 to 32.
  • This change slightly decreases the lethality of the SMG-11, bringing its damage more in line with other secondary weapons.

SPAS-15

  • The first shot kick of the SPAS-15 has been reduced.
  • This change improves the overall accuracy of the shotgun, making it more reliable at longer ranges.
  • The lateral recoil of the SPAS-15 has been increased.
