Resident Evil Requiem Gameplay Reveals Thrilling Changes

Resident Evil Requiem Unveils Gripping Gameplay

Capcom just dropped the first gameplay footage for Resident Evil Requiem, giving fans a thrilling glimpse into both first and third-person perspectives. This latest addition to the franchise promises a fresh experience.

Announced earlier this month at The Game Awards, Resident Evil Requiem is set to launch on February 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game aims to deliver a “bold shift” in the Resident Evil universe.

Players will step into the shoes of Grace Ashcroft, the daughter of Alyssa from Resident Evil Outbreak. As an FBI analyst, she’s on the hunt for answers surrounding a spate of mysterious deaths in Raccoon City, three decades after the catastrophic bombing depicted in Resident Evil 3.

A New Kind of Hero

Director Koshi Nakanishi, known for his work on Resident Evil 7, has crafted a protagonist quite different from the series’ usual heroes. Grace starts with minimal combat experience, making her growth throughout the game a focal point. Players will accompany her as she evolves from a novice to someone who can tackle the horrors lurking in the shadows.

As players navigate the dimly lit corridors, complete with flickering lights and eerie shadows, the game harks back to traditional survival horror roots. The atmosphere is thick with tension, setting the stage for a gripping experience that both new and veteran players will find compelling.
