Star Wars is hot again. The growing popularity of The Mandalorian and the fantastic journey in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order have caused quite a stir for J. J. Abrams upcoming movie The Rise of Skywalker. If you count the days until the opening on the 19th of December in the cinemas, you can now qualify as Rey, Finn and a Sith soldier in Fortnite. These player skins can now be purchased, as well as new Star Wars banners, vehicles and weapons.
The Star Wars excitement does not stop there. On December 13 at 1:30 pm ET, Lucasfilm debuts a new scene from The Rise of Skywalker in the game. At this point, just go to Risky Reels to see the footage. Another Fortnite announcement – which is unlikely to have anything to do with Star Wars – takes place tonight during the Game Awards.
