Great news for gamers! The COO of Saber has confirmed that three exciting games are still in development despite the recent sale from Embracer Group.
Tim Willits confirmed that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, and Jurassic Park: Survival are all in the works.
According to Willits, “We’re still working on a number of titles, including Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, and Jurassic Park: Survival. We’re so excited about these titles and can’t wait to share more with everyone soon.”
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, originally set for a winter release, is now scheduled to launch on September 9 after a delay.
John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is a cooperative FPS game where players must destroy the Sludge God to prevent people from turning into zombies. It will use Saber’s Swarm Engine and will be available in 2024 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
Announced in December, Jurassic Park: Survival is a single-player action-adventure game set after the 1993 film. Exciting stuff!
In other news, Saber Interactive has been sold off by Embracer to a group of private investors for $247 million. Don’t worry, Saber will retain some awesome studios like Nimble Giant, 3D Realms, and more, so rest assured, the future looks bright for these games!
