Squanch Games’ High on Life Coming to PlayStation Consoles
Twitter user Knoebel has discovered a PS4 version of Squanch Games’ High on Life in the PlayStation backend.
The finding was made by Orbis Patches, a website that tracks updates for PlayStation 4 games.
The latest update includes general bug fixes and improvements.
High on Life was initially released for Xbox and PC in December 2022 and was available on Game Pass for both platforms on the launch day.
This comedic first-person shooter allows players to team up with talking guns to fight against an alien cartel threatening humanity.
It set multiple engagement records at launch, making it the biggest release of 2022 on the subscription service, the biggest third-party launch ever, and the largest single player-only game release, according to Microsoft.
Squanch Games CEO and Studio Director Mike Fridley announced last month that High on Life had over 7.5 million unique players, leading to the release of the DLC titled High on Knife.
The DLC takes place two years after the main game’s storyline and introduces a horror-comedy theme. It features Knifey, a bloodthirsty melee weapon voiced by Michael Cusack, and introduces a new character/gun named Harper voiced by Sarah Sherman (Saturday Night Live).
High on Knife will be available for PC and Xbox consoles this fall/autumn.
